EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          Starter Corp. announced the following promotions: SEAN
     SMITH has been elected to serve as an Officer of the company
     and has been promoted to Controller.  He previously served
     as Dir of Financial Reporting.  RAY RICCIO has been named
     National Sales Manager/Department Stores.  Formerly, Riccio
     was National Account Manager overseeing Starter's JCPenney
     business.  MIKE KUNDE has been named Dir of Strategic
     Business Unit Ops.  Previously, he was Manager of Process
     Improvement.  Also, LAMOTT BRITTO has been promoted to Dir
     of Team Services & PR and GEORGE PERRY has been named
     Marketing Manager/Advertising & Promotion (Starter).
