Basketball's role in Hollywood films was examined by Lance Gould of the N.Y. POST, who noted that movies such as Jordan's "Space Jam," and Shaq's "Kazaam," are "just the beginning of a full-court press that basketball will be making on the entertainment world, as studio heads are seeing nothing but net gross" (N.Y.
