FRANKEL NAMED MANDALAY SPORTS PRESIDENT

          Former Clippers Exec VP Harley Frankel has been named
     President of Mandalay Sports Enterprises, according to Cathy
     Dunkley of the HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.  Frankel was an Exec VP
     at MLS.  Mandalay Sports was formed by producers Peter Guber
     and Paul Schaeffer, partners in Mandalay Entertainment Inc. 
     Frankel will be responsible for running the company and
     moving "ahead" on Mandalay Sports' "game plan" to acquire
     other minor-league teams to add to the AAA Las Vegas Stars,
     A Lake Elsinore Storm and IHL Las Vegas Thunder.  Guber: "We
     are in the process of acquiring different activities --
     including arenas as well as other sports-related businesses. 
     We will continue to be very active and will be developing
     our business plan in the next 90 days."  Mandalay
     Entertainment will release "Double Team," starring Dennis
     Rodman on Tuesday (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 3/27).
