          DENNIS RODMAN "has been asked to appear on Monday's
     Academy Awards telecast."  Rodman: "I did something for the
     Oscars.  That's all.  That's it.  No big deal. ... But you
     know, I might go to the Oscars" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 3/19).
     ...MICHAEL BUFFER, the boxing ring announcer known for his
     phrase "Let's Get Ready To Rumble," is charging Columbia
     Pictures with copyright infringement because his trademarked
     phrase is being used in promotions and in the movie "Booty
     Call."  Buffer wants the ads pulled and unspecified damages
     over $50,000 (N.Y. POST, 3/19)....WAYNE HUIZENGA pulled his
     sponsorship of a Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce event
     promoting "Miami Pride" over the weekend that was held at
     Pro Player Stadium.  Huizenga pulled his sponsorship after
     Miami Mayor, and Huizenga "adversary," JOE CAROLLO was named
     as one of the speakers (MIAMI HERALD, 3/18)....This year's
     British Open in Troon, Scotland, will admit anyone under 18
     free of charge (ESPN, 3/18).
