WILL THE BIG UNIT OR THE BIG HURT HELP SELL BIG GULPS?

For the second consecutive year, 7-Eleven will team up
with MLB and Fox "to create an in-store marketing program"
at the retailer's outlets nationwide, according to Langdon
Brockinton of INSIDE MEDIA. 7-Eleven is also "expected" to
buy ad time on Fox's MLB telecasts. Among the in-store
features of the program: MLB-themed coffee cups containing
Fox's MLB schedule; MLB on Fox POP displays; 28-ounce mugs
with All-Star Game logos; and a collector series of 7-Eleven
phone cards. The program starts May 1 and runs through the
end of June (INSIDE MEDIA, 3/12 issue).
