ITT STAYS ON TRACK IN SPONSORSHIP OF DETROIT GRAND PRIX

          ITT Automotive has extended its sponsorship of the
     Detroit Grand Prix through 2001, according to a report in
     the DETROIT FREE PRESS.  The event is run in conjunction
     with IMG and CART.  ITT has sponsored the event since '92
     (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 3/13).
          AUTO NOTES: Keith Duesenberg has announced his family,
     under the name Duesenberg Racing, will race on the IRL
     circuit.  Duesenberg has appointed CT-based The Marment
     Group as the team's exclusive marketing reps (Duesenberg
     Racing)....Shell Oil has extended its deal with CART's Team
     Rahal through 2000 (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 3/13).
