LIONS RAISE TICKET PRICES COMING OFF 5-11 SEASON

The Lions are raising ticket prices on "about a third"
of the Silverdome's 80,368 seats, according to Kupelian &
O' Hara in the DETROIT NEWS. Only club level and reserved
seats on the sidelines will be affected, about 30,800 seats
in all, as prices will increase by $5 to $40 and $50.
Kupelian & O'Hara note that Lions management "is sensitive"
about the price increase. Lions VP/Marketing Bill Keenist:
"We have more tickets priced under $20 than any franchise in
     the NFL" (DETROIT NEWS, 3/9).
