POLLIN'S DISABLED SEAT PLANS REJECTED IN FEDERAL COURT

          A U.S. Federal Judge "has rejected" Bullets/Caps Owner
     Abe Pollin's latest seating plan for the disabled at the new
     MCI Center, according to Maryann Haggerty of the WASHINGTON
     POST. U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan, who ruled last year
     that the arena's seating plan "violates" the Americans With
     Disabilities Act, rejected the seating plan that Pollin
     submitted. Hogan said the seating arrangement "still
     doesn't comply with disability law" because there aren't
     enough enhanced view seats in the center court area of the
     lower level. He said "the rest of the arena's seating tiers
     pass muster." Pollin will submit another plan within ten
     days. Matt Williams, Dir of Communication for Washington
     Sports, said the decision "has not affected our timetable;
     we are still moving ahead" (WASHINGTON POST, 2/27).
