STADIUM NOTES

          The Third Annual Nike Hoop Summit will be the grand
     opening event for Disney's Wide World of Sports fieldhouse
     at Walt Disney World Resort on April 19.  It will be
     broadcast on CBS Sports (Walt Disney Sports)....Reds GM John
     Allen and Hamilton County Administrator David Krings will
     meet with HOK Inc., to discuss potential stadium sites.  The
     Reds threatened a lawsuit last week, claiming "unfair
     treatment" from the city, "triggered" by the Bengals
     settling on a western riverfront home (CINCINNATI ENQUIRER,
     2/19)....The Centennial Authority in Raleigh, NC, "vowed" to
     move ahead with its new arena despite Felix Sabates
     withdrawing his NHL expansion bid for the area.  The group
     said "it will make a profit even without" an NHL team
     (Raleigh NEWS & OBSERVER, 2/19).
