2.14.1997

          AZ Industrial Commission investigators have found a
     dozen safety violations and have recommended $8,000 in fines
     in the October 9 death of a man at the Bank One Ballpark
     construction site (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 2/14)....Mariners VP
     Paul Isaki said the team is "reviewing a contingency plan"
     to play an extra year at the Kingdome, rather than move into
     a new stadium with an unfinished roof (SEATTLE TIMES, 2/13).
