PIPPEN SLAMS HOME FIRST EPISODE ON "CHICAGO SONS"

SCOTTIE PIPPEN kicked off a ten-episode deal with the
NBC sitcom "Chicago Sons" last night. Pippen, appearing as
himself, is the new landlord of the show's main characters,
the Kulchak brothers. The brothers "worship" Pippen until
they find out he plans on raising their rent. The deal was
negotiated by The Marketing Arm. A second episode with
Pippen will air this season at a later date, and the
remaining eight episodes will be aired during the show's
second season. The eight episodes will be shot in September
over three days on the Warner Bros. lot. TMA GM RAY CLARK
said the deal is worth "about" $235,000. Clark, on Pippen's
role: "He has a bit of an adversarial relationship with
them. They try to endear themselves to him, and he doesn't
find them quite as amusing sometimes" (THE DAILY).
