EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          ProServ named SETH MATLINS Senior VP.  He will be
     responsible for the day-to-day management of the consulting
     division.  Matlins had been a ProServ VP (ProServ)....The
     CISL named STEVE VANDERPOOL VP/Communications.  Vanderpool
     was Dir of PR for MLS (CISL)....ATANAS ILITCH has been named
     President of Olympia Entertainment Inc., to head operations
     for Joe Louis Arena, Cobo Arena, Glens Falls (N.Y.) Civic
     Center, Detroit Zoo Services, Little Foxes Fine Gifts and
     concessions for Music Hall Theatre.  He also will oversee
     Ilitch-owned sports and entertainment properties and will
     direct marketing and business for the Red Wings (CRAIN'S
     DETROIT BUSINESS, 2/10 issue)....The Nicklaus/Flick Golf
     School named CHARLIE RICKS VP.  Ricks had been Dir/Marketing
     for the Dave Pelz Short Game School and Tour (Nicklaus/Flick
     Golf School)....The Mets named RAY SCOTT Dir of Human
     Resources....The Pirates named WILLIE STARGELL Special
     Assistant to the GM, CAM BONIFAY (SportsTicker, 2/12).
