JACK LONG NAMED CEO OF IMSA AND IMSG

The IMSA has named Jack Long CEO of the sanctioning body and Long, who was named to the IMSA Board of Directors last November, will lead the day-to-day management and operations of IMSA and IMSA's parent, the IMSG. The IMSA also formed IMSA Properties to advance the marketing, licensing and properties management of IMSA. Based in New York, IMSA Properties will be led by IMSA VP/Marketing Kurtis Eide, now IMSA Properties President (IMSA). ACQUISITIONS: IMSG has acquired Sebring Int'l Raceway in Sebring, FL and Mosport Park track in Toronto (IMSA). NEW SPONSORS: Virgin Interactive Entertainment was named sponsor for the Exxon Supreme GT Series through 2001. Chrysler Corp. was named presenting sponsor for the '97 Exxon Superflo 12 Hours of Sebring on March 15 (IMSA).
