EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

          MLS Dir of PR STEVE VANDERPOOL will not make the move
     with the league to New York City.  Vanderpool will remain
     with his family in CA and pursue job opportunities on the
     west coast (THE DAILY)....Champion promoted CHRIS TRIPUCKA to
     Dir of Outfitting.  He had served as Senior Manager of Pro
     Outfitting.  JEFF JOHNSON has been promoted to Senior Manager
     of Pro Outfitting (Champion)....The Bucs named RICHARD
     MCNERNEY VP/Marketing & Communication, and VERONICA COSTELLO
     VP/Sales Administration (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 1/22)....Raycom
     Sports named DAVE KOBUSZEWSKI Dir of Media Relations &
     Promotions.  He had been Assistant Dir of Communications at
     the FedEx Orange Bowl (Raycom)....ALYSON FOOTER was named
     Publications Coordinator for the Astros (Astros).
