MEDIA NOTES

          Warner Bros. will license the rights to 12 feature
     films to two TBS cable channels.  The movies include "Space
     Jam."  Terms were not disclosed (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION,
     1/16).  Turner will be able to show the films about three
     years after being released in theatres and once they have
     been on video pay TV and video (N.Y. TIMES, 1/16)....S.F.-
     based Golden Gate Productions will distribute "Stride to
     Glory" this February to commemorate Black History month. 
     The show, which originally aired on NBC, features the
     history of the first 100 years of African American Olympic
     athletes (GGP)....ESPN will distribute the inaugural Winter
     X Games to more than 198 countries and territories
     worldwide.  The Games will also be translated into 21
     languages (ESPN)....The PGA Tour's new Web site at http://
     www.pgatour.com had more than one million hits in its first
     24 hours (PGA Tour)....Fox Sports Net will offer a 20-match
     fight package for a new monthly series called, "Fight Time
     on Fox," on Friday nights.  Barry Tompkins will host, with
     Tommy Morrison providing analysis (Fox Sports Net).
     ...M&M/Mars web site on Super Bowl Sunday, where visitors
     can "visit" the green female M&M debuting in the company's
     Super Bowl ads, is at http://www.m-ms.com (AD AGE, 1/16).
