AHL NAMES CHRYSLER AS TITLE SPONSOR OF ALL-STAR CLASSIC

     The AHL has named Chrysler the title sponsor of the '97
Chrysler All-Star Classic to be held in Saint John, New Brunswick
on January 15-16.  Highlights of Chrysler's sponsorship include a
major media presence at both the All-Star Game and the All-Star
Skills Competition through in-ice and dasherboard signage, and
logo placement on the AHL Canadian All-Stars jerseys.  Downtown
Saint John will also be decorated with Chrysler AHL All-Star
Classic street banners in the weeks surrounding the event (AHL).
     ALL-STAR BALLOTING: First USA Bank has been named the title
sponsor of the '97 First USA Bank AHL All-Star Fan Ballot Program
for its U.S.-based teams.  Each ballot serves as an opportunity
to win prizes including autographed Bauer All-Star jerseys and
autographed Sher-Wood sticks (AHL).
