GREGG IMAMOTO has been appointed VP/Ops at Easton Sports.
He will oversee Easton's customer service, sourcing, inventory,
management information systems departments and the distribution
center (Easton)....DENNIS SPENCER was named Exec VP of ProServ TV
(ProServ).

     BERNARD KING has informed NJ Gov. CHRISTIE TODD WHITMAN that
he did not wish to be named as a commissioner on the NJ Sports &
Exposition Authority.  He was nominated September 19 (NEWSDAY,
10/8). ...Tennis champion GUILLERMO VILAS is interviewed by PETER
BODO in the latest TENNIS magazine. Vilas, on the image of
today's tennis players: "Agents are all trying to make their guys
uncontroversial and smooth because they want to develop certain
images for them ... Today, it's like guys don't know who they are
or who they want to be."  Vilas: "Players hang around their
agents too much.  Agents are pretty square.  They're not going to
know, never mind want to go, if the Rolling Stones are playing in
some small club in a bad part of town.  It isn't good for
