AHL MARKETING POWER PLAY: DEALS SEALED WITH BAUER & CHRYSLER

     The AHL signed a three-year marketing partnership with
Bauer.  The deal starts with the '96-97 season and makes Bauer
the exclusive supplier of jerseys to the AHL on ice, as well as
in the sale of licensed replica and authentic jerseys.  Bauer
will also support the AHL's annual All-Star Classic as title
sponsor of the Player of the Game Award for both teams and the
Fastest Skater Event at the All-Star Skills Competition.  Bauer
will receive rinkboard signage and program advertising at the
game, in addition to joining with the AHL to select the Bauer AHL
Rookie of the Month and the Bauer AHL All-Rookie Team (AHL).
     CHRYSLER: Chrysler Canada was named title sponsor of the '97
Chrysler AHL All-Star Fan Balloting Program for its Canadian-
based teams.  In addition to in-arena voting, Canadian fans can
win a new Chrysler Neon and a trip for two to the '97 All-Star
Game.  A trip will be given away from each Canadian AHL city
(AHL).
