MUTINY IN TAMPA AS FORMER TEAM EXEC ARRESTED?

     Former MLS Mutiny Finance Dir Mark Fortunat has been
arrested and charged with embezzling over $100,000 from the team
between April-August, according to Lima & Ward of the TAMPA
TRIBUNE.  Fortunat had been fired by the team August 9 after an
internal audit revealed missing money.  Fortunat is accused of
taking cash generated from ticket and novelty sales and placing
it into his personal account (TAMPA TRIBUNE, 9/25).  According to
the Mutiny's media guide, Fortunat worked as a part-time
volunteer assistant for World Cup '94, and joined the MLS league
office in December '95 to "conduct player relations" (MIAMI
HERALD, 9/25).
