STADIUM NOTES

A year after adopting an 8% parking tax to help to help
finance a planned, $220M football stadium, the city of Cleveland
will likely receive $1.1M more than the $7.1M it expected to reap
from the first year of the tax (CRAIN'S CLEVELAND BUSINESS,
9/16)....A Miami attorney has filed a lawsuit against Broward
County and Huizenga Holdings charging that the Florida Panthers
arena, set to begin construction in two months in Sunrise, won't
be built to accommodate disabled fans, thus failing requirements
of the Americans with Disabilities Act....Also, Broward County
Finance Dir Phil Allen will receive a $2,000 bonus for helping
bring the Panthers arena to Broward and for handling last week's
$184M bond sale (MIAMI HERALD, 9/17).
