Starter has introduced a new series of TV spots with Emmitt Smith and Cal Ripken, Jr. The 30-second spots, produced by Tool of North America, are set in Starter's "futuristic state-of-the- art" research lab with "athlete technicians" testing and inspecting Starter garments. The Smith spot began airing nationally last week and the Ripken spot, currently seen regionally, will air nationally during the World Series (Starter).
