SPORTSLINE LOOKS TO SET THEMSELVES APART WITH RADIO LAUNCH

     SportsLine USA, the Ft. Lauderdale-based sports on-line
service, launched their all-sports radio station on the Internet.
Initially, the station will provide 20 hours of live programming
each week before expanding to 70 hours on September 1.  Users
with a sound card and speakers on their computer can access the
station at the SportsLine site and download RealAudio or
Streamline software.  The site is at http://www.sportsline.com
and will feature nationally known on-air radio personalities
(SportsLine).  SportsLine Chair Michael Levy is next looking at
syndicated TV programming "meant to be tied to on-line content"
(USA TODAY, 8/28).

SBJ’s Josh Carpenter also joins the show to share his insights from this year’s Masters, while Karp dishes on how the WNBA Draft’s record-breaking viewership is setting the league up for a new stratosphere of numbers.
