THE MARKETING ARM ADS NEW ACCOUNTS WITH A TWIST OF PIPPEN

Dallas-based The Marketing Arm (TMA), has landed three new
accounts which revolve around their client, Scottie Pippen. IL-
based cellular company Ameritech has hired TMA to develop and
implement consumer promotions around its sports properties.
Promotions are being considered for the Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs,
White Sox, Univ. of IL athletics, and the NBA charity Scottie
Pippen Ameritech All-Star Classic. CT-based Pharmaton Natural
Health Products, makers of Ginsana, the ginseng-based dietary
supplement, has retained TMA to develop and execute a national
sweepstakes called "Scottie Pippen's Feel Your Ginsana
Sweepstakes." Entries will be available at Pippen life-sized
cut-outs in retail outlets where Ginsana is sold. Winners will
get a trip to Chicago that includes tickets to a Bulls game. Oak
Brook, IL-based McCain Citrus Inc., makers of Zippin! Fruit
juice, also retained TMA to handle a sweepstakes and other promos
around their recent endorsement deal with Pippen. This
sweepstakes targets kids 6-16 with 50 grand prize winners getting
a chance to play ball with Pippen at "Camp Zippin! with Pippen,"
a half-day hoops camp in the Chicago area (TMA).
