TICKET TRACKER: BRAVE NEW PRICES FOR OLYMPIC STADIUM

Instead of an across-the-board increase on tickets when the
Braves move into Olympic Stadium next season, the team has raised
two-thirds of their "already priciest" seats by an average of
about 20%, according to I.J. Rosenberg of the ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION. The remaining tickets will stay the same as
comparable seats at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. Braves
President Stan Kasten: "It was important for us to be accessible
to all members of our public, both the ones with the smaller
budgets and the ones with the bigger ones." Seven price levels
will be available in the new ballpark: Dugout level for $30 ($5
increase); club level at $25 ($5 increase); field and terrace
level at $20 ($3 increase); field and terrace pavilion at $15 ($3
increase); upper level seats at $10 (no increase); upper pavilion
at $5 (no increase); and 178 newly added skyline seats sold only
on gameday for $1 each (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 8/13). In a
separate piece, Kasten noted 57 suites will also be available.
They range from $125-200,000 per year and can accommodate from
14-22 guests (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 8/13).
