     Prime will carry the College Hockey Game of the Week,
featuring the CCHA.  The season begins November 1 (Prime).
....CBS reportedly spoke to Englishmen Peter Oosterhuis at the
British Open about joining their golf broadcast team.  Oosterhuis
is a former PGA Tour pro and has been working as a commentator on
European Tour events for Sky-TV and The Golf Channel (GOLFWORLD,
7/26 issue).....GOLFWEEK's David Shedloski cites sources who
Augusta National is considering 18-hole coverage of The Masters
in the near future.  One source said it would happen within five
years.  Shedloski also notes, "in what may be a harbinger of
things to come," ESPN's Jimmy Roberts has agreed to a new deal
that includes a chance for time on ABC (GOLFWEEK, 7/27....The
overall audience for sports talk KNBR in San Francisco has
increased 25% over the past quarter (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS,
7/27).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown. SBJ’s Tom Friend also joins the show to share his insights into NBA viewership trends.
