RED LETTER SPECIALS IN CINCY HAS SCHOTT ANGRY, FANS HAPPY

Exiled Reds Owner Marge Schott "isn't happy about how the
team's being run in her absence," according to a Cincinnati Post
article noted on "SportsCenter." Schott is angry the Reds are
now paying bands to play at games, are offering discount prices
for tickets and are allowing fans to run the bases after games
(ESPN, 6/26). This morning's CINCINNATI ENQUIRER noted last
night's $3-a-seat special was "met with big smiles from Reds
fans." Fans bought 12,575 of the $3 tickets, for a total
attendance of 32,286. That is close to 13,000 over the team's
season average. In the five games since the departure of Schott,
attendance has jumped 16% to an average of 25,877. Fans have
credited new interim CEO John Allen (Dana DiFilippo, CINCINNATI
