EYE IN THE SKY: DELTA TO PROVIDE IN-AIR OLYMPICS COVERAGE

Delta Air Lines next month may offer NBC's live Olympics
coverage on one of its jets, according to the ATLANTA
CONSTITUTION. Delta VP/In-Flight Service Jenny Poole told
Delta's internal employee news line that the airline will try the
service for six months using DirecTV. Other channels, such as
ESPN and CNN, may also be considered. According to the news
line, the live feed would replace a feature film. The test would
take place on board Delta's "Spirit of Delta" Boeing 767, which
has been given a special Olympic paint job. Delta Spokesperson
Erin Flynn said the news was released prematurely and declined
further comment (Rodney Ho, ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 6/25).
