HEINEKEN SIGNS ON AS USTA CORPORATE CHAMPION
Published May 13, 1996
Heineken NV, the world's second largest brewer and a major sponsor of the U.S. Open Tennis Championships for the past four years, has expended its sponsorship with the United States Tennis Association. Heineken is now one of the USTA's Corporate Champions, a select group of companies that provide significant support to the USTA's mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the U.S. on a recreational as well as a professional level. Heineken's Corporate Champion sponsorship is a multi- million dollar sponsorship that will last through the year 2000. In addition to the financial commitment, Heineken USA will develop a marketing effort to support the sponsorship, including ads and PR activities in the U.S. (USTA).
