Washington Sports and Entertainment opened the new MCI Center Marketing office in downtown DC to focus on sales of luxury suites and club seating for the new MCI Center (MCI Center). Wes Unseld, Washington Sports VP, said about 80 of 110 luxury boxes have been claimed, including twelve $1M "Founders' Boxes" (Maryann Haggerty, WASHINGTON POST, 4/4). More than a third of 3,000 "smart seats," complete with a 6-inch interactive TVs, also have been sold (Lorraine Woellert, WASHINGTON TIMES, 4/4).
