RAVENS MAY INSTITUTE PSL PLAN FOR FANS AT MEMORIAL STADIUM

The Ravens are finalizing prices and details of their ticket
policy for their inaugural season in Baltimore, with fans at
Memorial Stadium possibly being required to buy a seat license at
the new stadium to be built next to Camden Yards, according to
Jon Morgan of the Baltimore SUN. The Ravens intend to institute
a PSL plan for season-ticket buyers, but the team's agreement
with the state limits the amount of licenses sold to no more than
$75M and also limits use of proceeds to stadium construction and
moving-related expenses. Ravens spokesperson Kevin Byrne said
the PSL money "is money the Ravens need to come here." He added
some seats at the new stadium will be set aside for single game
sales and not require a PSL (Baltimore SUN, 4/27).
GOOD CARE: The team named the Univ. of Maryland Medical
Center as medical care provider for its players. The center
recruited two sports medicine specialists experienced in sports
and family medicine (Baltimore SUN, 4/27).
