3Com, sponsors of S.F.'s 3Com park, launched an Internet competition -- the 3Com "Triple Crown Challenge" --designed to encourage online learning. Students use the Web and the 3Com Park Web page to answer trivia questions on school subjects as well as sports. The game was launched in conjunction with the Giants-Dodgers series.
