     In Chicago, Jay Mariotti writes there is only one
"applicable slogan for the local mood toward postseason hockey.
Cup Comatose."  He writes fan interest is down because Owner Bill
Wirtz "still has no clue how to market his product" (CHICAGO SUN-
TIMES, 4/18)....The Ravens' new corporate offices will be in
downtown Baltimore at the St. Paul Plaza.  The team reportedly
committed to a lease valued in excess of $1M through 2001
(Baltimore SUN, 4/18)....The '96 NFL schedule is set to be
released in two weeks, and the Seahawks are being scheduled in
Seattle, according to NFL Dir of Communications Greg Aiello.  The
team has yet to put tickets on sale for the upcoming season
(SEATTLE TIMES,  4/17)....In S.F., Glenn Dickey writes should the
A's decide to ever leave Oakland, Co-Owners Steve Schott and Ken
Hoffman will look at Contra Costa County, where they already own
land, or Santa Clara County, where the population "is large and
growing rapidly."  However, they are "not thinking about" either
Sacramento or DC (S.F. CHRONICLE, 4/18).
