TALKS PROGRESSING ON SPORTS COMPLEX SITE IN SOUTH PHILLY

     Negotiations on a South Philadelphia site for a new sports
and entertainment complex are "progressing toward a conclusion,"
according to Edward Moran of the PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS.
Sources say talks involve owners of the businesses in the target
area, the Phillies, Comcast, the Eagles and city and state
officials.  One of the business, the Stadium Holiday Inn, is 11%
owned by former Eagles QB Ron Jaworski, who confirmed he and his
partners have been involved in talks (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS,
4/18).
