     Pittsburgh Mayor Tom Murphy reacted to NFL Commissioner Paul
Tagliabue's assertion the city should consider a new multi-use
stadium for the Steelers and the Pirates.  Murphy:  "I don't find
his comments helpful."  Murphy, on a new multipurpose stadium:
"I think that train has left the station" (PITTSBURGH POST-
GAZETTE, 3/22)....Bill Squires has resigned as Dir of Giants
Stadium Operations to become GM of the new Disney World Sports
Complex (THE DAILY)....Following FL House passage of an annual
$2M tax break to benefit the Heat, the Metro-Dade Commission
"voiced support" for a $196M plan to use existing tax dollars to
keep the team in Miami  (MIAMI HERALD, 3/22)....ITT is "actively
looking" for a corporate sponsor to purchase the name of the
former Paramount Theater, at Madison Square Garden.  ITT hopes to
generate around $30-60M in a deal (N.Y. POST, 3/22).
