ORR REPORTEDLY INTERESTED IN BUYING BOB WOOLF ASSOCIATES
Published February 8, 1996
Bobby Orr is "part of a group negotiating to buy" Bob Woolf Associates, according to Daniel Golden of the BOSTON GLOBE. Orr said he and some friends are looking into the deal, and "will continue to look into it." He declined to name other members of his group. Gary Woolf, President of Bob Woolf Associates, told the GLOBE that "we're looking for investment to grow the company in areas of marketing and sponsorship." Orr recently asked FleetCenter Chair Larry Moulter to help "in reviewing the company's financial performance," and reportedly Moulter came away "impressed by the new management team there" (BOSTON GLOBE, 2/7).
