COLTS OWNER LEFT "INCAPACITATED" BY NOVEMBER STROKE

As part of a legal agreement reached yesterday regarding the
non-football holdings of Colts Owner ROBERT IRSAY, it was
revealed the 72-year-old "is incapacitated by a massive stroke he
suffered on November 29 and is not likely to recover." Irsay's
son, Colts VP & GM JIM IRSAY, and wife, Nancy, had filed separate
petitions seeking to be named guardians over Irsay and his
estate, estimated to be worth $10M. Both backed off after an
agreement was reached (AP/Baltimore SUN, 2/29). Control of the
football team was never at issue (INDIANAPOLIS STAR-NEWS, 2/28).
