     A Canadian-record 35,000 fans are expected to pack SkyDome
for MICHAEL JORDAN's first appearance in Toronto (Toronto GLOBE &
MAIL, 1/18).  In his preview, Jim Byers writes, "Jordan has no
peer in the history of sport" (TORONTO STAR, 1/18)....Lakers Exec
VP JERRY WEST is featured in the February issue of MEN'S JOURNAL.
In the piece, West talks about the pressures of being the Lakers'
chief architect and his feelings on the new free agency era.
West:  "We look like baseball right now" (MEN'S JOURNAL, 2/96
issue).... MUHAMMAD ALI will visit Cuba today to deliver medicine
and meet FIDEL CASTRO.  Over 10,000 pounds of diabetes pills and
other medical supplies will be included in the mission (N.Y.
POST, 1/18)....MARIO ANDRETTI may leave retirement to drive in
the U.S. 500 at Michigan Int'l Speedway (INDIANAPOLIS STAR/NEWS,
