TSA CHAIR SEES BUCS HEADED OUT OF BAY AREA

Tampa Sports Authority Chief Steve Anderson said yesterday
that Bucs Owner Malcolm Glazer may "now intend" to move the team
out of Tampa. Anderson said he drew that conclusion after the
Bucs broke off talks for a new stadium with city and county
officials until they commit the "necessary funds" (Henderson &
Koehn, TAMPA TRIBUNE, 1/12). Meanwhile in the Orlando area,
officials from both Orange and Osceola Counties are discussing a
plan that would move the county line to enable a proposed new
facility for the Bucs to sit in both jurisdictions. The Orlando
Area Sports Commission floated the idea, noting that both
counties should be obligated to share in the cost of a new
stadium. Bucs representatives have visited Osceola twice in the
past week (Anthony Millican, ORLANDO SENTINEL, 1/12).
