TIGERS STILL WEIGHING SELLING NAMING RIGHTS TO NEW BALLPARK
Published December 8, 1995
Tigers Owner Mike Ilitch has not decided and at this time is not "aggresively pursuing" the possibility of selling the naming rights to the new Tiger Stadium, according to the DETROIT NEWS. Tigers President John McHale said he is not convinced it would be "the right thing to do," even though some local companies have expressed an interest (Valarie Basheda, DETROIT NEWS, 12/8).
