Madison Black Wolf of the Northern League announced that singer
JIMMY BUFFETT has become a part owner of the club
(SportsTicker)....The roster for the new Marquee Group:  Serving
as Exec VPs and Directors are MICHAEL TRAGER, formerly of The
Baseball Network, MICHAEL LETIS, a co-founder of SMTI, a Marquee
subsidiary, and ART KAMINSKY and LOUIS OPPENHEIM, founders of
Athletes & Artists, another Marquee subsidiary.  LEE BERKE,
formerly in charge of marketing at MSG, will become Senior
VP/Marketing.  JIM SILEO, former head of finance for MSG Network,
will become CFO.  Exec VP ROBERT O'CONNOR will assume COO
responsibilities.  CHET SIMMONS, former USFL Commissioner and ABC
sports exec, will serve as a full-time consultant.  Others:
Senior VPs JANET PAWSON, MICHAEL GLANTZ, and CAROL JEFF.  JAY
GROSSMAN will head Marquee's hockey division (Marquee
Group)....The Lakers have promoted KEITH HARRIS from Dir of
Broadcasting and Marketing to VP, California Sports
Marketing/Lakers (Lakers).
