STADIUM NOTES

In the wake of the Browns' expected move to Baltimore's
Memorial Stadium, the CFL Stallions and the Univ. of MD continue
to discuss a plan to relocate the team to Byrd Stadium
(WASHINGTON TIMES, 12/20)....Arena construction continues in
Nashville, where the city hopes to lure an NBA or NHL team.
Galvanized steel siding is now being installed as the facility is
approximately 52% complete (TENNESSEAN, 12/18)....Support in
Milwaukee is growing to change the location of the Brewers' new
$250M ballpark to east of Highway 41, instead of west, so it
would overlook the Menomonee River. State official James Klauser
called it a "remarkable idea ... It solves a lot of our [highway]
access problems (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 12/20).
