Former USGA President Grant Spaeth and veteran golf writer- editor-publicist Stu Schneider have joined the staff of GolfWeb, an "award-winning" Internet site that provides "Everything golf on the World Wide Web," according to GolfWeb President Ed Pattermann. Spaeth, most recently president of PAR Golf Systems, Inc., will serve as VP of Business Development. Schneider, formerly the Public Relations Dir for GOLF DIGEST and an editor with the National Golf Foundation, has been named Editor. Other recent additions include Bob Vieraitis, former Dir of Software Product Marketing for Sun Microsystems, as VP Marketing/Sales, and Chuck McManis, a member of the Sun team that developed Java, as Dir of Technology (GolfWeb).
