ACOG announced yesterday that Textron Inc., one of the
nation's largest multi-industry companies, has been named an
official sponsor of the '96 Games. Several of the company's
aircraft and industrial divisions will provide logistical support
with a fleet of dedicated helicopters, fixed wing aircraft, golf
carts and personnel/cargo carriers, as well as manpower and
operations facilities. More than 1,000 Textron-provided
specialty vehicles will be on call to provide transport for staff
and officials during the Games. Through the sponsorship,
Textron's Bell Helicopter subsidiary is the official helicopter,
