POLL SHOWS SUPPORT IN BIG APPLE FOR NEW STADS FOR MLB, NFL

An October Quinnipiac College poll shows support for new stadiums for the Yankees and Mets to remain in New York has increased, along with support for building a new stadium to draw the NFL back into the city. 45% call the suggestion the city build a new stadium for the Yankees a "good idea," up from 37% in July. Only 36% feel the same way about a Mets stadium, with 54% calling that a "bad idea." Meanwhile, 53% support the idea of a stadium for an NFL team (Quinnipiac).
