     DAVID JUSTICE was on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" last
night (NBC, 11/2).... Yesterday's BOSTON HERALD shoots down
rumors Aerosmith's STEVEN TYLER will sing the National Anthem at
the NHL All-Star game in Boston (BOSTON HERALD, 11/2)....An
Atlanta team of BILL MCNAIR, JEROME SHELTON, MARK BECHER, and
EARL WARREN won the "Hoop-it-Up" National Championships and the
"Court of Dreams" event by beating the "NBA Legends" consisting
of GEORGE GERVIN, DANNY AINGE, JAMES WORTHY, and REGGIE THEUS,
and coached by JULIUS ERVING.  A buzzer beater by Warren beat the
Legends 16-14.  The match is shown this Saturday on NBC
(Streetball Partners).... Celtics Chair PAUL GASTON, on selling
out the FleetCenter: "Sure I'm worried.  My idea of good
marketing is a good basketball team.  I think we know our team
stinks" (BOSTON GLOBE, 11/3)....EVANDER HOLYFIELD reportedly has
his eyes set on carrying the Olympic flame up the stadium steps
in Atlanta next year and is "convinced" a victory over RIDDICK
BOWE will give him that honor (BOSTON HERALD, 11/3)
