NO BULL: MICHAEL'S TEAM REPORTEDLY TO GET NEW ROAD DUDS

The Bulls will reportedly get an additional road uniform
soon, a black jersey featuring red pinstripes, according to Mark
Woods of FLORIDA TODAY. The new uniforms will not have the
club's logo set on a large rectangle that is currently featured
on Bulls' red away shorts. Woods: "Apparently the Bulls and the
NBA are looking for new ways to tap into the Michael Jordan
jersey market" (FLORIDA TODAY, 11/11). One Bulls player has
called the uniform "disgusting." The Bucks will unveil a green
road look sometime next month (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL,
11/11).
SEEING RED: Charles Barkley launched into a "classic Sir
Charles stream of consciousness" last week after watching tape of
the Rockets and their new look. Barkley: "You've got the two-
time world champions and they dress them up like this? I can
deal with the uniforms if the court wasn't so bad. Anything to
make money. These owners have no respect for the players or the
fans" (FLA TODAY, 11/11).
NEW LOOK FOR THE CLIPS? In L.A., columnist Mike Downey pans
the new looks for the Rockets, Hawks, Sonics and Grizzlies, and
notes the Clippers may be in the process of designing new
uniforms (L.A. TIMES, 11/12).
