AUBURN-MISSISSIPPI STATE MOVES FROM ESPN TO WEATHER CHANNEL
Published October 5, 1995
Hurricane Opal has caused the postponement of tonight's Auburn/Mississippi St. football game, which was scheduled to be broadcast as ESPN's Thursday game of the week. Officials at Auburn, the SEC and ESPN declined to comment on the financial impact of the cancellation saying it depends on whether or not the cable network picks up another SEC game later in the year. All conference TV revenue is divided equally among SEC schools (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 10/5).
