IT'S CERTAINLY NOT CALENDAR NIGHT

     John Labatt Ltd. is running a promotion in Toronto in which
the brewer is giving away 400 tickets to the Raptors home opener.
Using a historic theme, Labatt has placed most of its ads on the
Toronto transit system, with the campaign emphasizing Canada's
historical influence in basketball.  The tagline features
Canadian James Naismith and the date he invented basketball,
followed by the date of the first Raptors' first "regular-season
game" -- November 6.  However, William Houston of the GLOBE &
MAIL notes the team's first game is November 3 (GLOBE & MAIL,
10/26).

NBC Olympics’ Molly Solomon, ESPN’s P.K. Subban, the Masters and more

Nevarez has had stints at the conference level in the Pac-12, West Coast Conference, and Mountain West Conference as well as at the college level at Oklahoma, Cal, and San Jose State. She shares stories of that journey as well as how being a former student-athlete guides her decision-making today.
