The Oakland Coliseum board gave its approval yesterday to an agreement "shifting power over major financial decisions to city and county appointees." The board voted unanimously in favor of a 10-year operating agreement (S.F. CHRONICLE, 10/19)....Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist yesterday appointed Budget Dir Stephen Agostini to the WI Professional Baseball District Board (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/19). ....Georgia Dome engineers have found a permanent fix for the water-ponding on the roof.
