COORS SALUTES ROCKIES SUCCESS WITH "PENNANT FEVER ALE"

     Coors Brewing company, part owner of the Rockies, is
celebrating the team's current success with a "Pennant Fever Ale"
to be distributed in the Denver area.  Coors operates a micro-
brewery inside Coors Field, called the SandLot Brewery.  The
Rockies currently trail the Dodgers by one game in the NL West,
but remain one up over the Astros in the race for the Wild Card
(AD AGE ONLINE, 9/29).
     AN AMERICAN ORIGINAL: Anheuser-Busch will introduce three
new beers under an American Originals umbrella, all vying for a
share of the "red-hot microbrews and specialty category."  The
individual names are Faust, Meunchener, and Black & Tan (Jerri
Stroud, ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 9/29).
